Dr. Akram Jawed is a Senior Consultant specializing in Shoulder and Hand Surgery at Max Smart Super Speciality Hospital, Saket. He holds an MBBS from Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University (A.M.U.), and an M.S. in Orthopaedics from AIIMS, New Delhi. Dr. Jawed further advanced his expertise with a Fellowship in Upper Extremity at Mt. Sinai Hospital, New York. He has extensive experience, having worked as a Consultant in the Hand & Upper Extremity Division at Medanta Bone & Joint Institute and as a Senior Specialist and Head of Orthopaedics at IOC Hospital. He also completed Senior Resident positions in Orthopaedics at AIIMS and Dr. RML Hospital, New Delhi.
