About the Doctor

Dr. Anurag Krishna is the Chairman of Paediatrics and Paediatric Surgery at Max Smart Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, with over 35 years of experience in the field. He completed his MBBS, M.S. (General Surgery), and M.Ch. (Paediatric Surgery) from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. Dr. Krishna has held significant roles, including as faculty at the University College of Medical Sciences, University of Delhi, and Chairman of the Department of Paediatric Surgery at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. He joined Max Healthcare in 2009 as Director of Paediatrics and Paediatric Surgery.

Dr. Krishna is recognized for his expertise in paediatric laparoscopy, paediatric urology (including hydronephrosis, VUR, and hypospadias repair), and surgery in newborns. He has also contributed to over 60 scientific publications and chapters in medical textbooks. Dr. Krishna has received several prestigious awards, including the D.M.A. Diamond Jubilee Award and the Vishishtha Chikitsak Award. He is a Fellow of the National Academy of Medical Sciences and an active member of various medical organizations, including the British Association of Paediatric Surgeons. His OPD hours at Max Smart Super Speciality Hospital are Monday to Saturday from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm (by appointment only).
