Dr. Rayaz Ahmed is a distinguished hematologist with expertise in stem cell transplants and hematological disorders. He completed his MBBS from Pt. Ravi Shanker University, Raipur in 1999, his MD from Shivaji University, Kolhapur in 2003, and his DM in Hematology from Christian Medical College & Hospital, Vellore in 2010. Dr. Ahmed has extensive experience, having served as a Senior Consultant in the Department of Hematology at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre, New Delhi, and as an Associate Professor at CMC Vellore. He specializes in autologous, allogeneic, haplo-identical, and matched unrelated stem cell transplants, and treats conditions such as aplastic anemia, thalassemia, sickle cell anemia, leukemia (AML, ALL, CML, CLL), lymphoma (Hodgkin and Non-Hodgkin), and multiple myeloma.

Dr. Ahmed has published numerous research papers on topics such as splenectomy outcomes in chronic ITP, imatinib adherence in chronic myeloid leukemia, and stem cell transplants for thalassemia patients. He was awarded the University Gold Medal in MD Pathology from Shivaji University in 2003. His work has made significant contributions to the understanding and treatment of various hematological disorders.
