Dr. Sandeep Kumar Upadhyaya is a distinguished Rheumatologist with over 20 years of experience in treating complex rheumatological conditions. He was among the first in India to utilize biologic agents for the management of diseases such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, Inflammatory Spondylitis, and Ankylosing Spondylitis. His work in advanced clinical research has contributed significantly to the understanding and treatment of these conditions, particularly in the development of new biologic treatments for Rheumatoid Arthritis, Ankylosing Spondylitis, and SLE (Lupus). Dr. Upadhyaya was also a key member of the team that created the IRA guidelines for Rheumatoid Arthritis treatment.

After completing his MBBS, he earned an MD in 1996 from the University of Allahabad. Dr. Upadhyaya is an active member of the Indian Rheumatology Association, Delhi Rheumatology Association, and the Indian Medical Association. His special interests include Rheumatoid Arthritis, Inflammatory Spondylitis, and Ankylosing Spondylitis, and he remains dedicated to advancing treatment options for patients suffering from these chronic conditions.
