Dr. Subhash Gupta is the Chairman of the Max Centre for Liver & Biliary Sciences at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket. He is a pioneer in the development of Living Donor Liver Transplantation (LDLT) in India and has made significant contributions to liver transplant surgery. Dr. Gupta has held various prestigious positions throughout his career, including at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals (2006-2016), Sir Ganga Ram Hospital (2006-2008), and St. James’s University Hospital, Leeds (1995-1998). He completed his education at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi.
Dr. Gupta has been honored with numerous awards for his excellence in clinical medicine, including the Gold Medal from the Delhi Medical Association (2005), the Vishisht Chikitsa Ratan Award (2012), and the prestigious “YASH BHARTI” award from the Uttar Pradesh government (2016). He has also received the “B.C. Roy” award from the Medical Council of India (2016) and was recognized with the “Chairman’s Award” by Max Healthcare in 2018. Dr. Gupta has published over 30 papers on liver transplantation and continues to be a leading figure in the field.
