Dr. Vishwanath S is a highly experienced nephrologist and transplant physician with over 29 years of expertise, including 17 years specializing in nephrology. He is the Head of the Nephrology Department at Manipal Hospital, Old Airport Road, Bengaluru, where he is known for his work in managing acute and chronic kidney diseases, including polycystic kidney disease and acute renal failure. Dr. Vishwanath is also an expert in renal transplantation, including swap transplants, paired exchange transplants, and dual organ transplants (kidney-pancreas, kidney-liver). Additionally, he is skilled in dialysis techniques such as hemodialysis, CAPD, and CCPD, and has experience in critical care procedures like central line and catheter placement.
